While I believe there are some exceptions, it seems most doctors are quick to prescribe medication to assist their patients in this process rather than suggesting natural methods like meditation. Yet, the science strongly supports the effectiveness of meditation in reducing the hormones of stress, which naturally leads to a deep state of relaxation.
