Talking Yourself into Change
You may or may not be aware of this, but there is a good change that your subconscious mind is either ignoring everything you’re telling it, or it is doing exactly the opposite of what you’re telling it.
Affirmations are one of the most commonly used methods for rewriting the subconscious mind. Affirmations are basically a series of positive phrases that, if repeated to yourself often, are supposed to convince the subconscious mind that they are true. Affirmations only work, however, if they are used appropriately. Unfortunately, most people don’t use them appropriately, and as a result, they are unwittingly attracting the exact opposite of what they are trying to attract. This is because your subconscious does not communicate exclusively in a written or spoken language. The primary delivery method of communication to your subconscious involves emotion and imagery. Without these things, your subconscious will largely discard what it receives. In some cases, despite the positive nature of the affirmations, they can actually generate a negative emotional response. For example, if you are constantly repeating to yourself “I am wealthy”, “I am abundant”, or “I am a money magnet”, but the world outside of you reflects the opposite of those things, then the emotions you experience as a result of those affirmations may lead to frustration or hopelessness. If this is happening, then the affirmations are only serving to attract the opposite of what you want. If you want to effectively communicate with it in order to reprogram it to behave the way you want, you need to include affirmations and imagery that elicits positive emotion.
In order to get the desired effect from the affirmations you are using, you must first convince your subconscious that they are real. One way you can do this is by connecting to a future event that you desire in such a way that it will produce the same positive emotions that it would if the event was actually occurring. Think about this – if the ‘Many Worlds Theory’ in Quantum Mechanics holds true, then all possible realities will play out in a series of parallel universes. If you connect to an imagined future event – like generating unlimited wealth or health, then based on the Many Worlds Theory, that future scenario would have to play out. Why? Because you just created it in your mind – which means it has now become a statistical probability. In other words, the event is real on some level. Think about this – if you close your eyes and immerse yourself in an imaginary world, your subconscious cannot differentiate between that, or an event that is occurring in your outer world. According to your subconscious, the experience is real. Since emotions are the byproduct of an experience, then you will produce the chemicals necessary to experience elevated emotions tied to the event you are envisioning. Those emotions will rewrite the software in your brain to make you believe that the future event has already happened. Then, in that moment, your affirmations will further compliment an already positive state of mind and enhance your state of being. You have now tuned into the frequency of that reality and have begun attracting the set of circumstances and events that will ultimately lead you to experience that reality in your outer world.
In order to tune in to that frequency, you must create an emotion which will generate an energetic signature in the Quantum Field. This energetic signature will tune your vibration into the vibrational patterns of the universe/reality that you want to experience. That is why there are so many people who seem to easily manifest their desires, while others never seem to manifest anything. It’s all about what emotion is occurring underneath all the images and affirmations. If you don’t believe it, and you don’t feel it, it will never occur. However, if you do – if you can fully connect to the emotions of the event in your mind, then it will happen for you. It’s only a matter of when.
